Relatives of two Palestinian children, killed in an Israeli overnight airstrike on Gaza, buried their shrouded bodies in the city of Khan Younis in the southern part of the enclave, amid grief and fear of war reigniting. The children's bodies were wrapped in white cloths stained with blood.
"These are not just numbers, they are our children, our future," said one woman attending the funeral. "The world must see what is happening here." Local residents fear the current escalation could lead to a new war, bringing more suffering to the civilian population.
